Bidfood is traditionally a wholesaler to the catering and hospitality industries across the UK – you may have seen our lorries (the ones with the landscapes made out of food) deliver to your local school, restaurant, hospital or care home. During the 2020 lockdown, we opened our range up to home consumers who were struggling to access their usual food shops, and we were one of the wholesalers chosen by the government to help deliver weekly food parcels to those shielding. Through these initiatives, we have built valued partnerships with home consumers, and we are delighted to continue offering our range through ‘Bidfood at home’.
When you start adding items to your basket, you will be prompted to set up an account to continue. Once your account is set up, you can continue shopping then and there, and in future, you will simply need to log-in to access all your information.
Simply set up or log in to your account and you can start adding items to your basket. Bidfood at home is only available online – but our website is optimised to work on mobile/tablet, too, so you can shop on the go.
We currently deliver in 2 hour windows between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday. Available delivery dates/times will show once you are placing your order. You also have the option to collect your order from our depot if this suits you better (exceptions apply).
Your local depot will guide you on how to collect your order. Once an order has been placed for click & collect, you can select the day, and the depot team will then contact you to confirm a time for collection, this will be between 9am and 3.30am. To maintain social distancing upon collection, your order will be brought to your car so please follow the team’s instruction upon arrival.
You will need to pay by debit or credit card, PayPal, Apple pay or Google pay upon placing your order
Delivery is free on orders over £40. For orders under £40, a delivery charge of £10 will be applied.
The minimum order is £40 for home delivery orders. There is no minimum order for click and collect.
As our wholesale business is originally built for delivery only, this unfortunately means that some sites simply aren’t fit for purpose for click and collect, and we must ensure our customers safety first and foremost.
